CEU's for recert of CCDS

Are AHIMA CEs valid for recert of our CCDs?

If not, need suggestions on ways to obtain them, not all our staff can attend the national conferences.

Yes, it appears that AHIMA CEs can be used.  The link below notes what can be used.

Hi Sheila,

A couple ideas:

• quarterly calls - just listening in gets you a CEU!
• Journal - Take the quiz and earn a CEU
• Local ACDIS events
• AHIMA CEU's are generally transferable
• Some RN CEU's would be appropriate as well.
