CDI and Case Management Salaries
Hi. We are working with our Compensation department to review CDI salaries. We have found that the current Case Management Nurse's salaries are considerably more than the current CDI salaries. Historically CM moving to CDI would receive a salary increase or a lateral move depending upon experience. In current state, a CM wanting to move to CDI would have to take a salary decrease. Reaching out to see if other health systems are experiencing this discrepancy in salaries? Or if this change is isolated to our health system? We feel the CDI position is a more complex role with a different skillset required to be successful in the role.
