EHR downtime

I am trying to find any information on a downtime process for CDS who typically use 100% EHR for reviews and documentation of CDS work. Do you know if such information exists? Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.

    We have something in our EMR (cerner) called 'patient keeper'. It allows you to view the medical record during downtimes. There is a lag of a few hours but it generally allows reviews to be performed. We don’t have paper chart so there really isn’t another option.

    I have never seen any industry information on this.
