CDI Abstract/Review Software

Our hospital is looking at CDI Abstract/Review Software and wondering if there are any recommendations for a good CDI software program. We have EPIC as our EMR. We have looked at 3M and MedAssets. We need one more to look at.

    Hi Rosie,

    We use Midas right now with Cerner as our EMR. We are moving to Epic in the
    next few years. The interface is the most important issue with any system
    you go to. Epic is still working on their bidirectional interface and it is
    being beta tested. I have used Claro in the past but found the our IT
    department could not provide the support we needed to run reports.
    So, make sure Epic can support the interface with what ever system you
    chose and make sure you can run reports from your new system. I vote for
    Midas.
