    Cari,
    Hi I'm Karen and working on a start-up CDI dept. I am the only person in the department, and I don't have any coding experience. I was an ED nurse when I transferred to the Quality department. It was decided that they wanted to start a CDI program and the girl who was starting it quit. I fell into the position. I just wanted to reach out since we are both new. Maybe we can help each other.

    I am the Interim Manager for Legacy Health Systems CDIP program. We have had a Mission statement for a few years now, updated it once. I'm looking to review it again this year and would be interested in others Mission Statements and how the new Health Care measures impact our Mission.
