The coder is wondering if anyone can help...

We have an inpatient core biopsy distal aspect of 5th metatarsal - for acute osteomyelitis diagnosis. It was done in radiology - IR. She is finding that the code is going to OR procedure with a huge financial impact.

Icd-10-pcs code 0QBP3ZX.... Is this correct?

Any input is greatly appreciated.

    Report says core needle bx, 12g needle.
