The CDI Talk forum/transition to new ACDIS Forum
HI CDI Talkers,
As you have probably seen in CDI Strategies and elsewhere we are set to launch with the new ACDIS website this Friday. The site will remain at the same URL (www.acdis.org) but will look very different and be greatly improved. It will be an adjustment but I'm confident you will come to love it. Current ACDIS members don't need to do anything; their memberships will carry over and once you log into the new site you will have full access to all your benefits.
One of the things we must do during this transition is shut down the CDI Talk forum tomorrow at noon ET. CDI Talk will be replaced with a new and improved ACDIS Forum, a more traditional online forum with different categories in which you can post (and receive email notifications).
We are preserving all the valuable talk threads and content from this group in a CDI Talk Archive on the new site.

The new site is great!! Is there a way to set up email notification for threads? I liked getting the responses via email.

Ok, I just found out how to personalize my preferences. Go to the little green figure in the right hand side and click preferences...that's where you can set your email notifications, etc...

Has anyone had difficulty getting the "New ACDIS Forum" previously known as "CDI talk" to stream to their email. I have followed the instruction and gone to "my preferences" and checked each of the boxes. I did this back in June and to date have not gotten any "forum" mail in my email. I have checked my spam folder and there is nothing there. I don't check these using my facility server because I use my personal email address and usually read when not at work. I have reached out to ACDIS but I'm told there is no problem on their end and that nobody else has contacted them with this issue.
If you have encountered this issue, what did you do to resolve it. I am completely baffled! I feel I'm missing out on all of the great networking that occurs in the forum. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I love the new web design but really miss my email stream.
