I would recommend discussing this issue with your particular cardiology physician champion and get an idea of what he/she considers acceptable for standards of practice. Up to about 1 year as a general rule, but there are all kinds of considerations that I am not comfortable addressing (such as the requirement that no acute cardiac events could have occurred in the interim in order to be considered still valid etc.)
