Reporting Workbench EPIC

Does anyone have any information on reporting workbenches in EPIC? My organization is currently building our CDI EPIC program.  I have heard about building workbenches that will allow you to run reports for different terms and conditions within your daily census. For example, all patients that have malnutrition documented in the EMR. Once you get the report, you can verify if the MD's are documenting what the dieticians assessment is. Another report searching for terms like lethargic/listless/poor perfusion/tachycardia, etc. Then to see if shock/or sepsis is documented. Basically it is a tool to allow you to search for specific charts that CDI could impact. 

I'm looking to see if anyone uses this tool within EPIC and what different workbenches you utilize and how they were built.
