Adding P/F ratios to queries
Hello! I am wondering if anyone knows of any guidance regarding calculating and adding p/f ratios to your acute hypoxic respiratory failure queries? I was under the impression that this should not be done, however, I just started a new position and the CDIs insert p/f ratios that they are calculating into their queries. Is this compliant?

If used correctly, I do not see how it is any different than other clinical findings. We provide MAP (when they are not automatically calculated).
But, that being said, p/f ratios often times used incorrectly.
