Patient had an Acute Stroke with positive Meth on drug screen and has a history of meth use. Can you code the poisoning as PDX? Do you have to query for the cause and effect of stroke likely related to the acute meth use??? Do you have any coding clinic guidance ?

    yes, provider must link the stroke as a illicit drug use meth was a manifestation by a stroke,
