Coding Clinic Questions

Is it correct that anyone can submit a question to Coding Clinic? If so, has anyone ever done this?

  • I have submitted questions to them and it is not difficult - if you
want to submit a question to them, I suggest you obtain a paper copy of
CC (check with HIM Dept) as instructions are listed on each paper issue
    - I only have access to electronic versions at this time and the
explicit instructions are not available .

  • Correct & yes, I have twice. It took about 2-3 months (closer to 3) to get response back.
Ask question on specific form & send in.

Anyone can and I have done this once. You will need to submit your question with all pertinent information. Faxing will get you a quicker response but it still took 10-11 months to get a response.
