CDI orientation

Hello all, I have a new nurse starting soon and I am trying to put together some materials for her orientation. I have done web searches and have reviewed ACDIS web site but I am looking for something to guide what to teach her. We have JA Thomas coming out the last week of Feb so she will have full training at that time. Any suggestions on where to start? I was trained by a consulting company and have no materials other than what I have found online.

    There is an orientation checklist in the forms and tools library under the policies and procedures section on the ACDIS site that is a pretty good guide. You can take it from there and add or remove things as you need to for your facilities needs.
