Orthopedic CDI Consultants/Vendors

Has anyone with a strong orthopedic service line or specialty hospital used a vendor or consultant that you would recommend? We are an orthopedic specialty hospital and I have been tasked to find out if there are any boutique CDI firms that specialize in orthopedics. Thanks in advance!

    Hi! I don't know if you got any responses to your request. I hope so! I'm just starting ortho chart reviews in our hospital. Since this is your specialty, I was wondering if you could share any educational programs or successful approaches to the orthopaedic surgeons. Also, do you have specific query topics that you would be willing to share. Thank you!

    hey Roberta,

    I would also like to have your input on what we can do to assist the orthopedic surgeons with clinical documentation. I'm currently working with my director and the director of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, under which ortho service line falls, to determine what the issues are and what assistance we might provide.
