You probably already had an answer by now... Did you get 451.81?? Would love to know what answer other's came up with!
This is how I arrived at that code-
In ICD-10 May Thurner Syndrome is in I80.2 per the guru of Wiki.. but didn't see a code for ICD-9. In ICD-10 it falls under "phlebitis and thrombophlebitis of other deep vessels of lower extremity" so I entered it that way in the 3M grouper for ICD-9= 451.81...

My thoughts are code the DVT and the compression of the iliac vein. Do you have a positive Doppler?
Per Dorland's Dictionary: May-Thurner syndrome, deep vein thrombosis of the left lower limb resulting from compression of the left common iliac vein between the right common iliac artery and the fifth lumbar vertebra, characterized by severe pain and swelling of the limb and venous claudication.
I came up with 459.2. May Thurner is vein compression I believe. New poster (but been an ACDIS member and following talk for almost a year), and just had my one year anniversary in CDI. My background is HIM with long history of consulting/managing coding.
