I am working with Dr. Pamela Bensen on a physician documentation pocket guide. It would contain a short booklet on how to train physicians to use the guide and the basics of proper documentation and a packet of tri-fold cards CDI specialists can hand out to doctors. Does this sound like a good plan to you? Are there items you'd definitely want included?
I am also working on a second edition of the CDI Specialist's Handbook. So much has happened in the world of CDI since it was first published we expect this edition to include CDI programmatics, query information, and program next steps for advanced CDI professionals. Let me know what you thought of the first edition and if there's anything you definitely want me to include in the second one!
