DRG/PDX
Good morning!
Currently our CDI program is part of "Quality" and unfortunately has little interaction with Case Management-HOWEVER, we are trying to change that. We had a meeting with the CM Director on Friday, and she wants us to put together an educational power point/slide to help the NEW Case Managers who have NO idea what a DRG, PDX, or MCC/CC is. She said it needs to be BASIC for them to just understand how all the pieces fit together.
Currently, we have a PowerPoint for Residents, but she feels it may be too advanced for this group, as we need to start at basic square one information. I have asked our coders to look through their resources for assistance, BUT FIGURED SOMEONE OUT THERE THROUGH THIS BLOG MAY HAVE ENCOUNTERED THE NEED FOR THIS SOMEWHERE ALONG THE LINES AND MAY BE ABLE TO FORWARD ME SOMETHING! THANKS IN ADVANCE! So does anyone have a slide presentation about DRG, PDX and MCC/CC they would be willing to share! Thanks!

Attached is the closest that I may have -- though needs work and more information. There is definitely overlap on some of the slides -- I did a quick copy and paste between a few ppts that I have.
