quick question

A patient has a AAA but is admitted for an unrelated acute illness (GI bleed). She then experienced a AAA rupture. Is that coded as POA Y or N? she has the AAA on admission but it had not ruptured.

Thanks!

    Please see CC POA example

A patient is admitted for repair of an abdominal
aneurysm. However, the aneurysm ruptures after
    hospital admission.

Assign "N" for the ruptured abdominal aneurysm.
Although the aneurysm was present on admission,
the "ruptured" component of the code description
did not occur until after admission.
