Meditech 6.0 EHR and clinical documentation issues

I need feedback from anyone who is currently using EHR via Meditech 6.0....we are in the process of beginning implementation and our department has been left out of the transition loop. What issues are there that need to be addressed prior to implementation??? The software vendor that we are using has the ability to flow queries to or from Meditech but we aren't sure which would be the best option. I need to know what we might be facing so I can make an argument on our behalf for involvement in implementation if needed. Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated!
