CDI Physician Champion/Advisor

Does anyone out there have more than one CDI Physician Champion/Advisor for their CDI program? In a multifacility system with >1500 physicians at one location, we were exploring the idea of a physician champion/advisor for each service line i.e. cardiology, pulmonary, etc. With one main advisor overseeing the program. Just thought I would see what others in the larger facilities are doing with this.

We have 3 for a 250 bed facility. One is our VP of Medicine, a
pulmonologist certified in critical care. The other two are internal med
docs. One is in private practice, and the other is one of our hospitalist.
It works well, I choose who to take challenges to based on their
    relationships with specific physicians.

We are a small hospital and our MDs are stretched so I am lucky to have one.
