CCS Maintenance Requirements

The following items are required to maintain CCS certification:

* Complete an annual self-review test. Each test counts as 5
CEUs towards required CEUs
* Obtain 20 CEUs bi-annually. Currently 18 CEUs must be related
to ICD-10-CM/PCS.
* Pay the fees

    That's a one-time requirement (so far) for CEUs regarding ICD 10. Once you "clock-in" 18 CEUs for ICD 10 you have met the requirement.

    ICD 10 CEUs are due by December 31, 2014.
