Clinical Documentation Apps

Anyone know of any smartphone apps out there covering documentation tips similar to those in the Physician Pocket Guide (Dr. Bensen)or in Dr. Gold's Documentation Strategies? While our physician's like these handouts many of them tell me they have a hard time hanging on to them. Thanks, Dawn

  • I would love to know this too! Thank you!
  • If you've purchased the Physician Pocket Guide, I believe there is a pdf version available to download (as well as a handy instruction guide).

Precyse has an interesting ICD10 app (free) available both Apple & Android. Of course, clients of theirs have a more robust version, but the free one at first glance looks helpful.

    Don't know of anything else.

There was an old string on this topic, and there was something available for a short time but was removed from the market ....

  • Can't answer about Apps. We had the same problem that the physicians would read my weekly Doc-u-tips but when it came to using the information the sheet was not available. We now have an icon on each computer in the dictation areas and physician lounge and they have directions as to how to access from office and home. The icon leads them to every piece of education material I have sent to them.

  • I purchased one from the Apple App Store in 2011 called mobile CDI solutions for 9.99' and now I see it is 1.99. Not worth it . It just lists CC/MCC for each speciality in medicine.

Wow this sounds like a great idea, sad we can't get IS to get on the
    same page with us.
  • I have both the CDI solutions and the Precyse App for my Android and much prefer the Precyse app, not to mention it was FREE! The CDI solutions is not very helpful.
