Salary ranges

Hi everyone-My hospital is in the process of reclassifying the clinical
documentation specialist job. Would anyone be willing to share salary
ranges at your hospitals? I've forwarded the 2008 ACDIS salary survey to
my HR dept, but I would like more current information. If you're more
comfortable emailing me privately, that's great. I will keep the info
confidential.

As well, would anyone be willing to share job requirements; e.g,.
education, type and amount of experience, certifications, etc?

I'm completing the 2009 Salary review now and it should be available shortly. The largest number of respondents listed their range between $60,000-$70,000. Most listed their background/credentials as RNs.
