Does anyone know of any smartphone apps to assist with the CDI position?

  • We have been thinking about working on one. What would you want from an App? Would it be like a pocketguide where you type in a common term and additional information and more specific terminology pops up or would it be more interactive?

I personally think if both methods could somehow be incorporated would be a wonderful idea.

Find-a-code is a great app for droid and iPhone. I share it with the docs.

I just downloaded this app. It is "The ICD-10 Physician Mobile Doc Guide" - this would be a great tool to help with queries related to I-10. Would be great if physicians went to the app when documenting but workflow and time - realistically this will not happen often.

    Thanks Roberta for sharing.

Just as an FYI-I could not find that app in the Google Play when I typed in
"ICD 10 Physician Mobile Doc Guide" So, I downloaded the "ICD-10 Doc
guide" (free) for Droid by Precyse. Now that it opened, it has the same
name "ICD 10 Physician Mobile Doc Guide" on the cover. So if you have a
DROID you may need to search ICD-10 Doc guide.

I know HCQ is coming out w/a CDI App. For those of you attending the Conf next month you will see the launch. Its for iPhone/iPad now but they are working on Droid next.

    Thanks!
