Hello Everyone,
Although I've followed CDI talk postings for the last 15 months, this is my first time posting. Excited to say I will be attending my first conference in Nashville and hope to meet many of you there.
I'm wondering if there is anyone that will be attending the conference that has experience with CDI in the area of Maternal/Child that would be willing to share some tips on getting started and what your program has learned. If anyone would be willing to meet and share his/her knowledge with me that would be great and very much appreciated.

    Hi Autumn,
    We do have a pedi CDI network-APDIS (Association of Pediatric Documentation Improvement Specialists) and Val Bica is heading that up. She is thinking about getting a meet-up going one evening.

    On that same wave length, I need to meet up with any CDI who have
    established CDI programs for Pediatrics. This is my first year attending
    as well and I feel so privileged to be able to attend and meet everyone.
    If anyone can give me their cell phone numbers who might be able to give
    me some pointers in this area it would be greatly appreciated!

    Can I get in on that sharing of experience with CDI
    maternal/child/NICU? Our hospital is a five hospital system and we need
    guidance in this area.

    Hello! I have also been following the CDI talk for a few months, but haven't posted on the site yet. I love what you all have to say and have been very interested in learning more about those program that have expanded into the Pediatric/Maternal Child side of things. Our hospital is hoping to expand later this year into that arena and would greatly appreciate any information available. Two of our staff will be present at the conference, Olga Perez-Rodriguez RN CDS and Jennifer Smith RN CDS will be getting in around 5:20 on Monday and we were hoping they could join the group at 8 in the lobby as well? If so, I can get you their cell # so you can connect. Thanks so much for all the great information you all post. It is very helpful!
