Aha! We have a new diagnosis-can you top this?

"Dyselectrolytemia". Must be one of those new fangled ICD-10 codes.

Dyselectrolytemia-"Magnesium 2.4, Potassium 3.8, Chloride 117, sodium 156"

Do you think we need to query for acuity?

Anyone else?

That is a new one as far as I am concerned. I will ask our Critical care physician group and get back to you.

Our ICU Interventionist/Specialist said he has never heard of this diagnosis before. He is pretty sharp.

We unofficially call those "Klepperisms" here since one of our physicians by that name tends to make up abbreviations and diagnoses:)
