callus removal

This may be a silly question but would you consider the cutting away of a callus an excisional debridement? Or it there a different code out there? This patient also has 2 diabetic ulcers on the same foot. The podiatrist is following her but I have NO documentation from him. One of the nurses documented that he cut away the callus to the underside of the right foot & it was redressed with 4X4's, kerlex, & an ACE. There is no mention of doing anything to the 2 ulcers. She came in with hyperosmolar state, acute renal failure, uti, cellulitis, possible septic knee, uncontrolled diabetes, & sciatica. Any suggestions on where or how to take this?

Thanks,
Laura
