RE: [MARKETING] 3M vs. JA Thomas with EPIC-help please
I quite agree with Robert.
With clear indicator support, it is quite acceptable to offer a new
diagnosis as part of the multiple choice options, however need at least
2 clinical reasonable options provided along with open ended -- other,
unknown, etc. The new diagnosis should NOT be part of the body of the
question.
If you are unable to come up with more than one reasonable option, then
consider an 'open' question -- no options provided.
Do NOT use the yes/no format to introduce a potential new dx -- the
query brief provides fairly clearly defined circumstances
(clarify/confirm an existing dx for example).
I would certainly have a conversation in greater detail with any vendor
where I had a question or concern as you've outlined -- it would be very
helpful to better understand their perspective when evaluating all of
the potential vendor/consultants being considered.
