question
Good morning! Question, can someone tell me what vent time they use? If a patient comes in vented as a transfer from another hospital, do you use the time from when the pt hits ED and is placed on the Hospital vent and Resp assumes care, OR is it based on the ADMISSION orders time.
Our Institution uses the time resp therapy assumes care/places pt on Hosp vent, but recently a co worker went to the CDI boot camp and was told we should only take it from ADMISSION time and date?
Thanks!
