I'm not aware of any restrictions on notes you may have written into your DRG Expert manual. Just no loose papers.
I received my test results as I left the testing center. Pretty cool
As far as studying, look at the study guide and sample questions on the ACDIS website. They will give you a good idea on what you need to cover. Also if you've attended the CDI Boot Camp, the information there can help as well.
