We are looking at purchasing an ICD-10 Book for CDS to use for Learning/using ICD-10. Does anyone have any suggestions on a good book for CDS's. Our Coder are looking for an ICD-10 coding book also.
There are a lot of resources out there. We have found the below books very beneficial. Really like Contexo Media Best Practices for ICD-10-CM Documentation and Compliance for our CDI team, also good coding resource. Contexo also has a really good Advanced A&P book for ICD-10-CM/PCS. HcPro has a ICD10 toolkit with some pretty great coding resources. Also, AHA ICD-10-CM and ICD-10 PCS Coding Handbook (Faye Brown) has lots of coding practice. AHIMA has some great ICD10 information out there as well.
