renal transplant and renal insufficiency

Does anyone have any information regarding renal transplant and renal insufficiency?

Would the renal insufficiency be a complication of the transplant or would both be coded separately?

    Refer to Coding Clinic First Quarter 2010, pg. 9......If the condition
    is affecting the transplanted kidney function Coding Clinic instructs to
    put Transplanted Complication. I would also wonder if renal
    insufficiency is a transplant rejection - and would ask the MD. Also
    ensure it is insufficiency, and not chronic kidney disease or acute
    kidney injury, etc....
