Question
Hi everyone!
I am new to clinical documentation improvement but have attended 4 boot camps this year and many other seminars and workshops. I've been a nurse for almost 30 years and was given approval to take the CCDS exam because of my nursing experience. My understanding is that the only two resources that we can take into the exam is a drug reference book and the DRG Expert. I am having trouble understanding exactly how to use the DRG Expert. I have asked others at some of the boot camps I've attended who have their CCDS if they could explain it to me but no one has offered anything helpful. Any suggestions?
THANK YOU!
