Outpatient Workload for CDI's
I'm curious and I know there are standards out there for inpatient CDI workload, but has anyone given thought as to how many charts per day a CDIS working in the outpatient setting should be able to review on a given day. My estimate would be 35-40, but part of me says that's low.
Any thought, insight, or actual numbers would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
