RE: [EXTERNAL] RE:CDI position requirements
I agree with many others. The degree isn't the determining factor on
who can be an effective CDIS. There are RN's who would not succeed and
RHIT's as well. But with the right person and the proper education and
training any of these or any other person with a clinical background who
wishes to be successful can be successful. To see that all you have to
do is look at the background and expertise of the people in the CDI talk
