Giving proper credit
Just wondered if there's a consensus on how you track a query when someone other than the recipient answers it, particularly with respect to providers who habitually don't respond to queries.
If you change the name to the person who answered it, the original recipient is no longer accountable for not having answered it.
If you keep the query assigned to the original recipient, they get credit for having answered it when they didn't, and the actual provider who answered it does not get credit for answering.
Either way, the stragglers and poor performers get off the hook. Looking for thoughts and/or suggestions.
