CDI software program

Hope someone can offer some advice. Am sure this question has been asked but can anyone offer input on CDI software programs. We are looking at JATA, optum 360, and chartwise. We are an old program however we are now an electronic medical record so we need an electronic query system. Also we would like the queries to not be a part of the medical record.

    Hi Deanna,

We have used J.A. Thomas and Chartwise. We started our program in 2004 with JATA and recently implemented Chartwise in April of 2014. We have Cerner as our EMR and have been very happy with the query piece that Chartwise has provided. When JATA switched to Nuance we weren't getting the customer support we once got and needed an update and that is what we found in Chartwise. I have a contact if you would like to e-mail me. As far as your queries being a part of the medical record I think you will be able to customize your program to fit your needs with Chartwise.
