ICD 10 crosswalk cheat sheets

Has anyone found any useful "cheat sheets" that cross walk ICD9 codes to ICD10 codes for use in ancillary areas that receive physician orders from outside providers (example: outpatient xray dept receives physician order (either hardcopy or electronic) for a CT scan of Abd but the diagnosis on the order is just "abd pain" and not specific for ICD 10). I'm looking for any tools that would assist the
"non-clinical" personnel in those areas with what questions they need to ask of the physician offices when they call to get the order clarified and resent.

Or is anyone using a different method to education physician offices (especially when they are not hospital owned practices)?

Thank you!
Loretta

  • I highly recommend the AAPC crosswalk sheets found at https://www.aapc.com/icd-10/icd-10-reference-guides.aspx. Free registration required.

HELP! I went to this site last night and did the free registration but I do not have a printer at home so I could not print off the reference guides. I went back to the site today from the link and I cannot find them anywhere. What am I doing wrong?

I tried it, too, and was told it was no longer free. I don't know if I was looking at the wrong spot.
