autoimmune sclerosing pancreatitis

Can anyone help me with assigning a code to autoimmune sclerosing pancreatitis?
A provider in one of our out patient clinics is trying to accurately reflect this condition and her mapping takes her to acute pancreatitis. She does not feel this is accurate. I am consulting coders but so far have received the answer of chronic pancreatitis.
Any ideas out there?

    I would agree with the chronic pancreatitis (577.1) . You might also add the code for autoimmune disease which is causing the pancreatitis. There is a code for autoimmune disease NEC (279.49). I don't believe there is a specific pancreatitis code available.

    I neglected to add that some coders are saying to use 577.8, pancreatic disease nec.
