kdigo criteria

I think I'm splitting hairs, but when applying KDIGO criteria, if a patient rises from 1.4 to 1.7 overnight, they meet criteria based upon a 0.3 bump in less than 48 hours.
That same patient technically shows a creat of 1.42, so if you add 0.3, they should technically have a creat of > than 1.72 in order to meet criteria.
How many digits out to you typically go-tenths/hundredths?
In our organization, if a pt does not meet critieria, the diagnosis is not coded and it gets escalated for review/education. This case is so close, but I'm not sure whether to advise to code or not.
Thanks,
Kerry
