We have been using VitalWare. We like it.... when the doctors bother to use it. Our issue right now is that they are still working on integrating VitalWare into our EMR. Right now they have to use the stand-alone program, and they are trying to get single sign-on installed. So unsurprisingly, the physicians are wanting to open up and log into another program, especially after having to go through and set up their user account. That being said, for us CDIs, when they are using VitalWare, it makes the documentation must better and easier to code. Hope this helps!

Sorry, I should have been more specific. We aren't using the CDI product, we use Chartwise. We are using it for the physicians to be able to drill down and find the correct code, so that they can get all the components required for an ICD-10 code and don't get a million queries. We looked at their CDI product, and we decided to stick with Chartwise because we liked it so much. Sorry for the confusion.
