Neurogenic claudication help

Good morning

Do we code the neurogenic claudication or not?

This is the diagnosis from the operative report

1. Multilevel lumbar stenosis at L2-L5 with neurogenic claudication

Not sure, could not find any guidelines?

Thanks

We also found that there is no way to capture the neurogenic claudication in I-10. It took 30 years to get that specificity in I-9 with 724.03 and it disappeared on Oct. 1st, go figure. We are asking providers to document any radiculopathy caused by the stenosis and then coding the radiculopathy. Not ideal but at least it captures that condition if present.
