I am looking for some benchmarks in CDI metrics for cc/mcc capture rate and unspecified code usage rate...any suggestions on the best place to find some information on this?
Table 7 of the IPPS final rule always has the total volume of DRGs, from there with a bit of work you can calculate a total cc, mcc or cc/mcc capture rate for all DRGs, as well as for medical and surgical DRGs.
I haven't gotten to doing the updated calculations for the FY16 IPPS .... when I do, I probably should send to Melissa for a blog post (may well not be before January).
