parainfluenza intection
One more for the day....
We have a patient where throughout the record the physician documents COPD exacerbation2/2 parainfluenza type 4 infection. It seems to me I need to query for the 'infection' in order to accurately code but it feels rather silly.
Is this what you would do?
Query for specificity as influenza, bronchitis, pneumonia, etc??
Thanks!
