Esophageal Varices w/Cirrhosis
Team,
I want to make sure I understand how to sequence liver cirrhosis with esophageal varices bleed. Are the varices still considered a manifestation of the cirrhosis? Should the cirrhosis be sequenced as principal instead of the bleed? Any coding clinics would be helpful.
Thanks,
Syndi
