APR DRG differences

Has anyone else noticed a decrease in the relative weight, SOI/ROM for APR DRG diagnoses since ICD 10 came into effect? Our coders list both MS and APR DRG and rel wt for both and almost without exception APR is significantly lower than MS. That was not true in ICD 9. any thoughts?

    Yes , many of the MS-DRG  relative weights have decreased over the past 3 years and I've also noticed the LOS has also decreased in many MS-DRG's although some (very few) have increased.

    I have not paid attention to the SOI/ROM impact so much, since I cannot figure out that magic sauce recipe.
