PSI codes for ICD-10

The link I have been using since ICD-10 for psi specs is below.
Just wondering if anyone has seen anything more current as this is still displayed as a draft.
Also, anyone care to shed light on why psi 15 is also listed as psi 25-both appear to be the same?
Thanks,
Kerry

  • Kerry,
Number 25 is Accidental punctures or lacerations during a procedure per 100,000 population, ages 18 years and older. So it is just a number. There are no codes associated with it that I know of. They should have named them differently. That is the link I use also, I don't think there is anything that has been updated as of yet.

  • Okay, I was wrong about the code part but it is a calculation based on codes, so the calculation is what the PSI is based on. Hope that makes sense.
