When a patient receives transfusion of PRBC's with hemodialysis, how is that capture or is it not capture and only the HD is coded as the procedure ?

    I believe that is facility specific. Last year we captured PRBCS, this year we are not. Does not affect DRG assignment. I would as HIM if they are capturing this info for aggregate data.
