With the advent of the CMS Comprehensive Care for Joint Replacement (CCJR), are you seeing CDI concurrently reviewing records in acute rehab facilities?

    At my previous employment we had an inpatient rehab. They were considered a different facility and diagnoses and conditions coded did not affect the hospital.

    Also, if my memory serves me correctly, Rehab coding is quite a bit different.


    The only records CDI staff reviewed from the Rehab was the rare mortality case.
