cerebral edema in stroke

Hello
Looking for criteria when to query for cerebral edema associated with
strokes.
● If any radiologic evidence of cerebral edema - query?
● If radiologic evidence of cerebral edema is noted as
progressive, space-occupying brain edema or causing herniation?
